Where do the 2 and 4 come from that you’re multiplying your outs by in hand odds?
you said your opponent had J2 in his hand and the only cards that could help him was another J. Well if he hits a 2 then he has two pair, which would improve his hand to two pair. That part about this vid i didnt like but overall it was ok
All this talk about Pot odds and Hand job….er Hand odds really helped my game out, kudos friend

good job, you helped me alot
nicely done my friend, great tutorial
Ill try to use the pot odds / hand odds strategy for once. hope i win instead of losing another 3k bucks in 2 weeks time
Overall However: When you are figuring your hand odds you DO count all the Possible cards that can help you. In this case 3 Aces and 3 Kings.
Unless your opponent were to show you the A-A or you know for a fact that he/she has it, you would count them.
If you are in this situation and didn’t come up against a big preflop raise, than its safe to assume your opponents aren’t holding a monster hand.
I would proceed with caution and look for large bets from my opponents, something like 3/4 to a full pot sized bet. Anything that signals weakness from my opponents would key me into them just having a Jack.
If they make a small bet and let you in cheap than it is worth it to try and draw to your straight or better pairs.
Thanks for the Question
That is a very good question and a great point to make. In an average game in this situation you want to proceed very carefully. It is possible that your opponent might have A-K or A-A. The way to know for sure is to pay attention to their betting patterns.
Most opponents will lead out with a strong bet (usually 3-4 times the big blind) pre-flop with A-A or A-K. This is a key sign that you might be out handed.
when u said 24% chance at 6 x 4 how do u know ur opponents dont have the Aces or Kings if u dont know their cards
is it best to assume they dont have those cards?

These math formulas were passed on to me from some of the best pros in the business. You can find more info on these from Phil Hellmuth in his book “Texas Hold-em”, and from Doyle Brunson in his book “Super System”.
